Quantity of Yeast for a TPW

I was just wondering if any one could confirm the correct amount of yeast to use in a TPW. The original recipe calls for 80gms Lowans for a 25 litre wash. I have been using 125 gms for a 50 litre wash and works fine. However I have read elsewhere on this site that some people consider that excessive. Also I have read somewhere that if a small amount of EC 1118 is used then the amount of Lowans can be reduced dramatically. Has any one any exoerience with using both at the same time?
Cheers

EC1118 is really really slow .
Mixing yeast will just provide food for the more dominant yeast .
When I did 25L TPW , I used 25g of Lowans , but I did reconstitute and let it start activating before adding to the wash.

Thanks Stig - good to know. Based on that I assume 1gm Lowans per litre of wash, providing it is reconstituted, is adequate.

Done right , you could get away with 5g in a 25L wash , look at all the beer kits around they only have 7g or something.
