Funky looking BWKO

Postby bac206 » Thu Apr 03, 2014 8:01 am

Hi all. Has anyone ever seen this before? It's a first gen BWKO with the grain bill altered to 75% corn, 15% barley, 10% wheat. 3.5kg sugar on Lowans yeast. This is my usual mixture and this has never happened before. It is a new bag of corn but it's the usual stuff too. Smells fine but don't like the look of it so I'm not game to run it

Just looks really well cleared, how long has it been left sit?

Did it ferment out fully?

If it smells and tastes fine I would run it :handgestures-thumbupleft:

G'day S&L. It's been sitting for just under 4 weeks. Definitely finished at 990 gravity. Can't say I've ever tasted it but I've got another fermenter that's finished to taste test

If your worried about the floaties on top just scoop them off as best you can, then run it.

Taste test is in. It was ever so slightly sweeter than the other normal fermenter. Hmmm???
