Original Gravity Question

Postby Marbled » Sun Sep 28, 2014 11:38 am

The local HBS had a really cheap offer on a turbo yeast, and I thought I'd have a play, see how it compared to TPW.

I made up a sugar solution, 8kg up to 25 litres and pitched the packet.

24 hours later I remembered to do the OG, 24 hours too late!
It must be a common recipe, so I wondered, Has anyone got any ideas what it would have been please?

No wonder I didn't need to rinse that "floaty thing" with the numbers up the side......
