TPW that's Orange

Postby gemini2544 » Fri Nov 07, 2014 7:33 am

Hi guy's, I'm brewing my second wash after my first Turbo success, hic!. Now I stuck to the recipe exactly except for one item, my wife bought Remano brand tomato paste instead of Lego brand. It's still bubbling slowly & it's now day seven but it's Orange & not Pink, I doubt it will make any difference but has anyone else use the wrong brand paste?

I use the cheapest tomato paste I can get my hands on (normally the 500g coles jars)

As long as the salt content isn't too high you will be fine its just to give the yeast some nutrient anyway :)

Gemini that will be fine, some cheaper pastes do make a wash orange.
