No if it is mouldy throw it out, mouldly grain contains toxins and I understand some of these compounds will not be fully distilled out. For the price of grain why risk it :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Having watched quite a few YouTubers, I noticed that not many first soak their barley and decant any floaties (chaff, bugs and the like) - again brewing Barley should already be cleaned ...!? :shock: but if not, this could be good!

N.B.: I have not tried this as yet, because I'm still getting a handle on the Lingwich (or Jargon) used by most. :D Reading a post in one tab and having the Glossary open in another ...
