equipment: 2" pot with 2" shotty 400mm long 5x 1/2" on a t500 boiler.
50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section

Oh OK. We’ve done ours (so far) @ 0.9mm... wonder what influence the size of the grist has?!?! Any theories anyone?

Smaller grain grind higher effeciency but chance of stuck sparge.. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

If you use a bag to strain there is no problems with grinding finer.

I'm only using a couple of litres of backset to adjust ph, i dont think i use enough to have any effect on flavour.
I grind as fine as my mill can, all my wash gets filtered through a biab bag.
