50 bucks sounds a bit expensive for 50L of wash. Marris is only 50 bucks a bag, and that should do nearly 100L of wash i would have thought.

I hope so bluc. It is worth it. Although the NGW is nice, the flavour that has come through in ours is amazing. I wish I had gone AG when I was doing beers. We have only had 30odd liters in our 50l keg so I don’t think we would notice even iff it did foam, and even then, it would end up in the thumper I suppose

Slightly off topic, but we plan to run our 100% peated feints with our gen 3 wash this weekend. Looking forward to seeing if any peate comes across from that.

I had enormous foaming problems with my first go. I even let it clear for a few days in the fermenter and added antifoam. I did usea stillspirits whisky yeast, which i never trust but was the best i could get for a test run. By comparison, my rum barely foamed at all.

Are you running a bubbler and see it in the sight glasses? Or does it foam right out of your pc

My rum always pukes...sometimes worse than others. I have stripped a batch clear here and there but never done a clear spirit run..
