Have had a good look through various posts and can't seem to find a wheat vodka recipe. Can anyone help with 1 and also what they distilled their wash through.

Could try malting some of the wheat did some in bags dunking in water and letting drain sprouted OK but could not work out how to dry properly mashed without kilning and did ferment out but did not get a good volume for effort.

Wynum All grain in general can be like that when starting out. Drying should not effect gravity only taste. Do you remember your amount of grain to wort? Just out of interest?

I'm gonna go the easy way and use some malt from the HBS. Next time I'll give the sprouting a go.

Could try Cryermalt they seem to be starting bagging malt in 25 kg bags in Brisbane but a 200 kg bulk bag would not take that long to use and would think cheaper then 25 kg bags.

Maris Otter bulk bags at 1000kg. We have nothing smaller sorry. $1,365 per tonne which is about 30% discount off list price. Just a monthly special if you reckon you can get through this much between you and your mates?

Freight would be another $200 though as we have nothing currently in Brisbane.

200 freight aint bad on a ton. 5 way split 200kg each 313 each landed gympie 8-}
May need to buy a pig to eat all the spent grain can you keep a pig in surburbia?

Price wise it really aint bad and will maybe look at this at some point..
