hi all

i think i have a problem, i went to rack off my ujsm and long and behold it has spiderweb like moldy looking stuff on floating on the top, now i racked it off anyway and am wondering why it would have gotten infected, and is it still alright to start a second generation on it

what can i do to make sure it doesnt happen again

cheers 8-ball

I reckon you should dump and run.... give everything good bleach bomb soak clean,

start fresh rather than risk another infection

thats my IMO anyway

shits you to tears when you get an infection.....

I've had the same thing happen to me too, I just did a stripping run with it and reused the hot slops to put back on a fresh batch of corn..... it ended up working out fine ;)

Then just stick the stripped low wines in with the next run.

I've had weavels (lots of them), a spongey white stuff that was a bit slimey, scraped it off and everything seems to be back to normal (yeah Frank it was the stuff you tried  )

I have looked at it like being the same thing as a rum dunder pit.

I don't like waste
