heavy peated distilling malt

Postby ekul » Sun Feb 23, 2014 11:38 pm

I got a bunch of this a year ago at craftbrewer and at first i thought it wasnt really that peaty, even when used on its own. However i recently found the demijohns with the scotch in it that i made and after a year of aging i can really taste the peat.

I actually have a bottle of it that i left white dog and its amazing to taste the diffference, the white dog is kinda peaty but the aged stuff is really peaty with some great chocolatey aromatics.

If anyone knows where to get a bag or two of this i'd be very appreciative.

cheers
