Sorry bluc but I doubt that would work with corn, that's my single malt setup.
You don't want to see me making corn whisky...the video would be a lesson things not to do next time 8-}
I'd do a better job of it next time given I have much better control and gear but the end always involved pressing the mash to remove the spent solids. I did it by hand last time with gloves...still too bloody hot. I'd like to use a wine press next time.

This topic always seems to come up, someone must have mastered corn round these parts, Mac perhaps?

What do you do with the corn after the mash if fed to animals then any thing that is not pressed out is not waste and just by increasing the quantity of corn may be better then trying to get greater efficency.
