Anything that had a sugar content that ferments WILL produce alcohol, just depends how good it is ;-)

Despite my hack skills this actually turned out very well. Its been on oak chips since being filtered. Light golden colour and a lovely sweet taste. I plan to store 10L on oak and move on to the next batch. This next batch wont be filtered, just have cuts made on the second distillation. Very happy with how this is working out.
