What do you collect the stripping run in?

Postby FireKitty » Tue Oct 22, 2013 9:16 am

Hey folks,

Just wondering what everyone collects their stripping run in - seeing as you are 'collecting everything' (except foreshots), do you just sit a big stock pot under there, or collect in 750ml glass bottles, etc? :)

150 liter commercial stock pot. works well, then pump out to 1000 liter tank every few hours.

At this stage, the only carboy I have access to from my local HBS is pretty steep in price... Stockpot it is then ;-)

I asked a few friends to put aside their empty wine bottles, ended up with a ridiculous amount in a very short time, bloody piss heads :))

I've been using a 19L keg or two. But mainly the 5L glass jars.
