Just starting out and need some advise? then post it in here.

It seems that there are quite a few different ways of going about doing the cuts , i suppose i just need to find the most suitable way for my own preference the first thing is i will take some notes this time , and try and pick one or two of the methods previously mentioned to start with .

Usually when cutting I mix samples from the different jars 50/50 with water in shot glasses. One in front of each jar, Ive read a few times around the traps that even more water helps. Today I tried 2 parts water 1 part spirit when cutting a rum run. Dunno but it seemed to make the job a whole lot easier,both in tasting and smelling.

equipment: Eve - 4" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (sieve plates), 330 mm packed section on a keg boiler with 2 x 2000 W elements.
Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.

I find this easier for my senses as well.
