Puking on spirit run

Postby bluc » Sun May 21, 2017 10:18 am

I had 25l low wines from run. The striping had puking issues.

I just started the spirit run and its puking again :angry-banghead:
. I have run plenty rum lw that had puked. This is first time i have had a spirit run do it.

Stripping it again. What percentage should i collect to should I collect to 20 like i normally would? Anyone tripple distill care to chime in?

Sounds like too much power ta me ,I found 900wt worked well for the 25-30lt boiler with a spirit run,and 1500wt for stripping ,over filling can also add to the havoc as well with the rum wash ,your sorta limited with a small boiler, and many like me have been guilty of pushing there limits with volume and speed ,wich sometimes ends badly or leads to a drop in quality, bigger boiler seems ta be most's solution then ya donot have ta beat her with a stick so hard to get the good gear.anyhoo.cheers hillzabilly :handgestures-thumbupleft:
