The Alcohol Library
The Alcohol is a website created by Howard (Harry) Jackson. It can be found at http://distillers.tastylime.net/library/. It describes itself thus:
"This online information resource is for the benefit of hobbyist distillers. It is aimed at educating the enthusiast in the art of home distillation of ethyl alcohol for beverage purposes.
Here you will find books, newspaper articles, technical papers, reports and other interesting things which will be a benefit in your quest for distilling perfection. Much of the library's content is scientific in nature. Hopefully it will aid in dispelling some of the nonsense and 'old wives tales' that seem to pervade this wonderful art."

I spoke to him about it some time back and he had some complaints from authors and it was just easier to remove it all than deal with the headache.
That said, all the information is still out there and available, you just need to keep looking.
