Latest stripping run does this sound right?

Hi all

I just stripped my latest wash which Teddysads fast fermenting Vodka wash and just wanted to check the outcome numbers , just doesn't seem right but i am a serial newbie.

I did a 40 liter wash and stripped down to 20% and ended up with 9 liters @ 35%


Does this should right?

Just completed a 42 liter stripping run of Teddy's FFV about 2 hours ago and much the same results.

First 5 liter demijohn was 55% ABV and the last 4 liters 35%. 9 liters in total.

This was distilled at full power, 2400 watts, from start to finish.

The design of the pot still may give some small variation as to what the final ABV is.

Yours would average out at about 46% or something, bit more than mine

I usually get about 7 to 8 liters per 40lt wash, but I only distill down to 30%. I end up with an ABV of about 40%.
