Hi All!

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but it is a beginners question...

I was wondering what your 'personal best' tasting AG (or other method) Whisky/Whiskey was?

What is your personal favorite recipe for whisky - specifically measured by the finished product? I don't really mind what the process was (although super interested!), but rather what was your best tasting Scotch or Irish type recipe that you've done/made yourself?

Any info would be appreciated!

Aged? How long, on what?

Still aging in a 25L barrel but has now plenty of different blend added to it.
Was delicious at 2months and is now 8months but needs more peat lol

How good is that compared to something you can buy off the shelf?

Want to know if a really good dram is achievable doing it yourself? I'm an experienced beer brewer, but only just started distilling...

It's very different to shop bought, but I certainly won't drink anything under $80 a bottle these days as I'd rather my own plus no hangover!
