Copper Connectors

Postby Tapi1956 » Tue Feb 20, 2018 6:40 pm

Hi all,
Just building my first VM still. Went to Reece's in Perth and was blown away by the price of Tees, Reducers etc.The components cost more than all the cooper pipe I got from the metal recyclers. I want to also build a pot still for my keg boiler but would like to know of any other places that sell copper components that don't cost a fortune. Anywhere in Perth.

Fleece are almost always the most expensive, ive found that tradelink are better priced than fleece, try another couple of plumbing stores.
also ask for trade price.
other than that, sorry, cant help you much more.

RC Al posted this link in the copper prices brisbane thread:

https://plumbingsales.com.au/copper-tub ... s.html?p=1

They are based in melbourne and have good prices, just not sure what postage will end up being

Thanks all
Psykamaholic. I just bought a heap of stuff from the website plumbingsupplies. Even with the postage it was a quarter of the price of Reece’s. My next reaction was angry at being ripped off by Reece’s. Live and learn. On to the build
