Hey all is there any formulas for working out the amount of heads hearts and tails u should get from a set batch
I understand distillers work it out via volume but there must be a formula to work from?

Too many variables that can change from every run to be such a formula.
Wash abv, how fast/slow you run, reflux time, type of still.
Just stick with your nose and pick your cuts

Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.

:text-+1: on the above although for my neutral runs, I usually end up with about 45-50% of the collected product being kept as hearts.
