T500 alternative

Okay , I had my heart content on buying a T500 with copper condenser online for 600 to get this ball rolling.
After my 5 consecutive night reading this forum , i see this may not be the best idea . Yet there is alot of T500 advice/experience out there or even you tube.
What alternative is there for a shelf bought kit to make primarily vodka.
A few have mentioned a BOKA but all google and research has not shown too much , and far from off the shelf kit.
Im not confident to make one , as with no experience i am still unsure of what i am reallly looking at.
Cheers guys

You have to start somewhere, but so many people on here, myself included, buy something cheap/ easy and find out fast its not good enough. And it ends up as money down the drain, entirely up to you what you do all we can do is offer advice :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Have you jumped on the blower to Alan or Sue at 5 Star? You can never tell from their website what they’ve got but they can sure real off what is kicking about pretty quick. After having a chat to Sue actually, I decided to build my own, but have purchased so many bits and pieces, and even with postage, prices have been better than buying local, and they have quality kit, I’m sure everyone who’s bought from them before will say the same. At the very least, Alan can guide you towards your needs.

5star do have an off the shelf boka you could ask about :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Some one in your area may be able to lend you a t500 or boka so you could try before you buy?
