TPW alcohol run

Gents, Been distilling for a while and wanted a bit of advice on TPW. I'm looking to strip TPW and add the 95% I collected back in with a macwhisky. Is this likely to taint flavours? I'm really just trying to cut costs on a run. My aim is to raise the ABV of the wash I'm putting through the still. Essentially ending up with more usable product

What type of drink are you trying to make?

All your going to do is dilute the flavor of the whiskey

I'm not running in feints. Talking about adding to a wash to increase the output. If
this were the case we would only run very low ABV through the still to increase flavor, right?

I think what Stig is trying to say is that by adding neutral to a flavoured wash you are diluting it as there is only so much flavour to start with. Yes you will get more alcohol but at the expense of the flavour. If you want a higher ABV whilst retaining as much flavour as possible then I think running it through a column with 4 plates or running a thumper is the way to go.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

I tried this a while back in a ujssm. Added a stripped 25 litre wash of tpw to gen 2, 3 and 4 of a 5 gen ujssm wash. I got better alcohol recovery at the expense of lower taste.
I won't be doing it again as when I watered it down to 40% abv for drinking it tasted like it was about 30%, like I had made the drink then let the ice melt before drinking it. The flavour was there but lacking.
