Benefits of Bubbler over other columns

Hi guys

Its almost that time to upgrade, i am was wondering if you all could tell me what the main benefits of a bubbler are over say a nomal LM, CM or CCVM column

I am looking to do neutral and flavored

Think faster collection is one of the big reasons :-B

equipment: 2" pot with 2" shotty 400mm long 5x 1/2" on a t500 boiler.
50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section

They are a lot safer than other stills if you miss the point where you back off the power. A BOKA will boil over and shoot alcohol out the top. If you are using gas you'll have a fire.

A 4 plate bubbler will carry flavor and high ABV and help separate the fractions better

Of all the reading I’ve done on this forum, I don’t think I’ve seen a more concise description of the advantages of a bubbler, well done stig, anybody would think you were selling these or something. :laughing-rolling:

To me the modular bubbler and packed section is going ta cover all bases exept gin,with a few more parts even that is not going be a chalange .Those other stills are great at one thing and they do it well ,whiskey wash thru a boka or similar is not gonna give you the best result,with the bubbler you can use 4plates or less,with rum I found 2plates was best,but bourbon corn whiskey came out best with 4plates,my advice is go modular whatever design ya settle on .cheers hillzabilly ;-)
