Postby ugfitter » Thu Jan 17, 2019 6:16 am

Hi all, I ve just finished my first cfw and added some charred oak wood chips to soak for a while, can these be reused when done? Or is it better to throw them out

BARBEQUE AND SMOKING is another use but if they still have flavor could still keep using but may not be very effective

I think twice is about as far as you can go with reusing them,
2nd use will take longer to work.
You might be able to sand off the top millimeter or so to "refresh" them like with barrels but its alot of work and they would become quite thin.
