Turbo sugar in a TPW?

Hello brains trust,

I received 12 Kg of turbo sugar with my T500 for Christmas which I’ve used half of to makes a sacrificial wash.

My question is Will the carbon in the turbo sugar cause a problem if I were to use the remaining turbo sugar in a TPW?

Paying extra money for turbo sugar not a good idea to use as a sacrificial wash just use cheap sugar the carbon in the wash works but for the extra cost probably not a good investment.

I used the turbos for a sacrificial wash because I’d put down that wash and THEN read that I needed to do a sacrificial run.
From what I’ve read turbos are not all that great anyway and a sacrificial run is probably the best use of them.

I now have a TPW in the fermenter bubbling away and will hopefully have some drinkable neutral when it has finished. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Turbo sugar is dextrose and has carbon and if purchase Turbo Production Pack 6kg – Still Spirits that is one expensive cleaning run .
Cleaning run does not need to fill the boiler just has to have enough so that the boiler does not expose the heating element anytime during the run .
if you have followed instructions on the wash could just do a new wash TPW with the sediment from the turbo sugar wash as sacrificial and and then be able to do a comparison .
