Turn 5 Star Pot still into reflux still

Hi all

I currently have a 5 Star distilling pot still and T500 reflux still,I was considering updating the T500 to a Boka or something like that then I had a brain wave. I was thinking instead of having 2 different columns maybe I could combine both into one column. If I was to add a 2" Dephlegmator to the Pot column to control the reflux, would this work? would it be better than the T500 or the same?

I’m sure it would work provided you packed the column with mesh or something but I don’t see that it’d be much better than the t500

Yeah I have the Pot column packed with copper mesh anyway, i am looking at this as the fiddling the T500 water for cooling gets annoying on long runs that's why I was considering a Boka style then thought of this but trying to use what io have as well
