Alchohol cleaning run

I had my first alchohol run today as a cleaning run anfter doing a vinegar run.
I did a tpw wash and ran it through my ccvm.

Question is can i use some of the hearts from this run and try it or not.
It was very clean

The purpose of the cleaning run is to get rid of any remaining flux and impurities that the vinegar did not dislodge. I wouldn’t drink any of it personally but in saying that, after foreshots and a couple of litres of heads, your still would be quite clean at that stage. A TPW is cheap enough to make anyway so just keep that first run as window and tile cleaner.

Hi matman, even the hearts may have some of the crap that you've just cleaned out of your still in it and you do not want to be consuming that. Save it and re-use it for your next cleaning run. Make sure you label it very clearly though.
