Both are generally highly acidic, dunder from the still will certainly kill grass - so can be used for weed control along fences etc

Well ok then, look's like it will be going down the drain. Just thought it could be recycled

Fermenter dregs go in my compost bin, hot dunder from the still I use some to clean my toilets: it's the best thing I found to take rid of that yellow patina you get at the bottom of some toilets, one in particular I've had issues for a long time before getting into distilling, must be shitty porcelaine - tried commercial products, bleach, vinegar&baking soda.. For the past few months, some hot dunder goes in, quick brush and leave it for a while before flushing :music-deathmetal:

I also pour some dunder on my compost heap. My compost tend to be overly alkaline as that's where all the ashes from my firewood stove go; as others have mentioned the dunder from the still can be very acidic, in my case that balances out the PH of my compost.

Could also put all your household documents in instead of shredding when disposing to stop identity theft and then compost the remains or put in bin .

rum distilleries recycle distillation dunder liquid to the canefields as its a great fertiliser.
might have to balance the acidity with lime depending on crop/starting soil ph
solid dunder from primary wash seems more problematic, bundy rum website says it ends up in landfill, doesnt explain why not used on crops.

Fermenter dregs would still have some alcohol and if you put down the drain would be consumed at the waste water treatment plant and turned into methane by bacteria and some large factories have their own bio reactors and convert to methane which is probably easier then trying to make alcohol .
