Sorry to ask a silly question guys but I can’t believe the number of you who love rum.
I love my whiskey and bourbon on the rocks but RUM !!!!
Seriously !!!!!!
I am thinking someone has poisoned my mind as the only rum I know is Bundy and I can only think of one use of a bundy can and that is throwing it at someone. Is there another drink I need to experience?

Almost any other rum apart from bundy will give you a better indication of what rum usually is, bundy is a very "distinctive" drink to put it nicely.

Go to a decent bottle shop and look for something from the Caribbean :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Or better yet go to a decent rum bar and try a couple for a fraction of a bottle ;-)

Well there's your issue summed up nicely! :))

Get yourself a bottle of Diplomatico or something similar and come over to the dark (rum) side!

homemade beer (little creatures clone or irish red ale),barcardi (mojitos only), or 30ml gin (bombay usually) with 1/2 bottle of schweppes bitter lemon with ice, or sip on a lemoncello.

i have been trying some neat spirits in the interests of science only :shifty: , and so i can compare my own products.
the local pub has been saving me loads of empty spirit bottles and there is always that bit left in the bottom :-D
i was in the workshop last week looking like a derro, swigging the last drops from spirit bottles.

grey goose vodka (winner)
smirnoff No21 (they must drink shed-loads of this in the pub)

gordons
gunpowder irish gin
hendricks
beefeater pink strawberry (WTF)
bombay (winner)

captain morgans jamaica black
kraken (winner)

jamesons (no)
jim beam (no)
jack daniels (no)
sorry whiskey fans, i just can't stand whiskey or bourbon, and i've tried some of the best.

ha ha, it's no use opening a whiskey debate, i just can't stand it, however good it's supposed to be.
probably why i've still got 2 unopened bottles from 1968.
