Interrupted spirit run

Hey guys another silly question

Do to time constraints it is not always possible to have 13 hours available for a spirit run. Is there any effect on doing a spirit run over 2 stints, or 2 days .

So doing the run for a 6 hours shutting everything done and leaving spirit in the boiler, then turning it all back on again the next day. Obviously it takes longer as everything has to get up to distilling temp the second day.

Has anybody tried this and we’re there any poor effects because of this.

Thanks for you help

Spirit runs on a pot are a bit draining. Maybe try running smaller boiler charges if you want to cut down on time?
Yesterday my spirit run was about 24L of low wines + 6L of excess wash from the last strip. Power on to shutting it down was 6hrs, ran at about 2L/hr through heads and hearts, then full power once I smelled tails
Got plenty of evil eyes from the boss though so even 6hrs might be pushing it!!
