It was a pretty smooth run but a long one. I ended up keeping 40 x 300ml jars to taste before closing the RC & running the rest to a feints keg. One day I hope to be able to decipher heads, hearts & tails straight from the still but that's going to be a while off yet. Sampling the cuts jars is quite challenging for me & diluted, which is supposed to make it easier is not the case for me. I can tell more easily what's in & what's out at the higher abv so maybe on the path for doing cuts without jars eventually. After tasting & feeling a little light headed, I ended up with 6.4lt @94% & cut down to 40%, I ended up with just over 15lt of neutral. Pretty sure I've made good cuts as I avoided Louche this time round by mistakenly dipping slightly into the tails. Not this time though, crystal clear @40% & I'm pretty sure we'll be enjoying some mixers over Christmas.
