This came with another still I bought, what sort of still is it and what would it be used best for.

It’s a kind of reflux still , I’ve only seen 1 before in my time

Looks like a cross flow tube CM reflux still. The design was popularised by a US manufacturer a couple of decades ago, and appears in a book or two about home distilling. The cross flow tubes are basically an inefficient deflag.

Disconnect the water from the cross flow tubes and you’d probably have a handy little pot still.
