i did my first spirit run and seem to have sused out using my diy controller to tame the little 5l beast :dance: ..... but i'm not quite sure what came out is quite the flavour i'm looking for. i'm going to give it another go using a scaled down hooks rum. since i've never fermented with molasses before (i tend to use honey a lot), i was wondering if 1/3 the height of the fermenting vessel was enough head space for a molasses run?
