In case there is a newb out there starting out like me this is what I found to be the tools/equipment.

Benzomatic torch - bunnings
Benzomatic flux - bunnings
Benzomatic solder- bunnings
Hacksaw or pipe cutter
$15 pack of mixed files - bunnings
A piece of sandpaper
Welding gloves - $15.00 bunnings
A few bricks or a vice for holding hot pipe
