Spirit run, what to expect

Finally I will have time on the weekend to do my first spirit run. :happy-partydance:
I have no idea what to expect, as in collection volumes.
I got around 30 litres of low wines at 40%
And about 20 small glass cups for collecting. But think I will be needing more

Whats a good % to stop collecting for a whisky?

Can anyone give me a ball park figure on how many litres to expect in total ?

I would expect somewhere around 10L hearts and 5L feints.
(depending on your cuts),
I stop collecting at 20% and keep as feints.

Finally got round to doing my first spirit run, shit what a day. Had the pot still running for around 8 hours.
Collected around 15 litres. Into 50 separate cups. 300 ml each
Let it air for 2 days and tried to pick honey from horseshit.
Seemed like alot of heads, I didn't like the taste or smell till I got to cup number 25
And started smelling shit at around cup 38.
Ended up with around 4.5 litres of what I thought was cream of the crop.
I didn't go on abv just taste and smell.
Think I was way to conservative???
Don't know enough on blending heads and tails yet.
time will tell.
