I can personally recommend McStill's stills (check in the commercial section of the forum). Bought a very nice pot still kit off him last year. I've also only heard good things about Emtyglass' work, also in the commercial section.

As a quick comparison, I first bought a pure distilling boiler ($300) and pure distilling pot still (~$400) from a home brew shop. It works fine for a small unit, but way too pricey.

Edit: clarified where I got my first unit

Hey all,

Nanna has contacted me in regards to a still purchase, so if there's anyone who has a pure distilling unit they have upgraded from and would like to move it on for a reasonable price this would be a good chance.

So if anyone has one, nanna would love to hear from you :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Cheers.

Dont panic, he works full time and has 4 kids... he might not be checking his PM 24 hours a day.

He will get back to you :))

They stay there until he reads them. Then they move to sent. Weird glitch but it means he ain't checked yet so don't overwhelm his inbox:-)
