Cant say I've ever seen the bottom of a fermenter through a cleared wash before

Hmm well that is good to know. One thing, for my three fermenters, I am getting FG readings of .920 and .910 for all three. Have I pushed the yeast too hard with too much or nutrients? I simply followed the recipes on the tried and proven, and I got those readings.

Put your hydro in some water and see if it reads 1.000

I have read 960 on a wash before.

What temp is the wash you are measuring?

Yes, it does measure 1.000.
Wash temperature is 20c, so i didn't have to do any temp corrections just now.

Well it's definitely fermented out you have used all the sugar in the wash and turned it into alcohol. This is exactly what you want

And weirdly enough I had the same problem with the wash turning brown after use. If it happens again I will post a picture of the wash, and the wash after boiling.

Why is my FG reading so low? 0.910?

Yes, I am wondering how it is sitting on .910, rather then what people normally get for a finished wash at .990.

Or am I reading it wrong? When I test the gravity of water it sits on the the lowest part of the green part of the Hydrometer.

Yeah mate, could be one or a combination of several things...like shitty Chinese hydrometers are commonly known to give an inaccurate reading (I'm sure they all come from China, but just a result a mass production, they're not all going to be perfect)...also the temperature of the wash can give a few points difference in the reading.

As Cam said, you're good to go, boil it :handgestures-thumbupleft:
