Sourcing Parts

Postby crikko » Thu Apr 04, 2013 1:40 pm

Hi guys,

I'm having trouble sourcing parts to make a 2" bokakob reflux. I'm in Bunbury WA.

I've got some 2" stainless steel for the column from my brother in law who can weld it all up for me, but I can't find any 1/4" copper for the coil that's in my price range. Tradelink quoted me $21 a metre, and another mob was $100+gst for a 30m coil, but wouldn't cut it down.

Also having trouble finding a keg or similar as a boiler.

The wife wasn't too keen on me building one at all, and hasn't allowed me much of a budget to get it done, so the cheaper the better!

Regards,

Chris

You'll catch on :))

Let me know if you get stuck, I know a fella here in Perth that would have a few.

Actually I know a fella who probably has everything you need, but he's a bit far from you up here in Perth :laughing-rolling:
