Sure can mate, basically i didn't listen to what everyone was telling me :laughing-rolling: also I had a faulty water valve which was a little to big for what i needed. So i would heat up and get into full reflux then slowly wind the valve back and would pretty much have to have the thing shut to get product coming through, then to try and compensate i left some reflux going and threw more heat at it, the run would start at 96% take of but would drop down as the run went on all the way to 80%. The next problem I had was that i was mixing with my brew water that had calcium sulphate and chloride in it, so even the first jar of 96% spirit hearts was good then going bad the minute it was cut.

Yeah that would make a difference :-D I myself, use bottled spring water...but I know others that use distilled water (store bought), and some that just use filtered tap water.

Glad you got it all sorted now mate.
