Hey googe, this to me seems like a pretty good yeild.
A coupla questions, what size wash was it- how much Molasses?
How big are your jars?
the reason I ask is, as a comparison, for example when I run a UJ with 5Kg sugar I get about 1/2 - 2/3 jar of fores/heads, 3 jars of hearts and a jar of tails if i take it down to 20%. my jars are 500ml. My abv is around the 92% down to +/- 88%
So, to me your run seems on par.(unless I'm missing something

Hey kimbo, 25L, no mollasses, like I said, 4kg raw sugar, 1kg white, 8L dunder and lees. Fermentered for around a.month. I do 250ml cuts, start to finish. I got what smells like maybe 500ml on a.good.day of hearts.

Hi Googe, only thing I can think of is your wash didnt finish, Although a month is a long time.
did you check the pH? coz dunder can get quite acidic. It sounds like it was a long slow ferment that didnt quite get there.
Maybe try less dunder and some Bi-Carb to raise the pH a bit.
That's all I can think of mate :-B

Thanks kimbo, think your right mate. I need to take more care with different washes. Think I'll just live and learn and stick to proven stuff. Thanks byb.
