it'll introduce reflux and lift your ABV at the take off, it's basically the same as the hybrid pot stills some people like.

Are you after neutral or just trying to lift the ABV on your pot runs?

I was hoping for a neutral but if not a neutral could this cut out my secon run with my low wines and just do a wash run and that is it save on gas ??

or what about running my saved up tail with that type of set up what do you think.

If I am not making any sence tell me and I will come back after I had a sleep and see what I can do.

I reckon if your going to go to the trouble of packing, making a coil & adding more pipe you'd be better off building a dedicated reflux unit.

My choice would be VM ;-)

if it's what you want to do you could make it work, but not many CM units like that produce as well as a VM or LM & they can be fiddly to run.

err,

it's basically the same as the hybrid pot stills some people like.

That would be me I guess.

Not the design for a neutral, straight up... ok for rums and heavy single run bourbons styles and a Gin.

Won't hold the abv long enough to make a real clean drop and carries flavour over so your wash is critical.

I said "some people" I wasn't inferring you had multiple personalities :))
