Removing the packing and manually adjusting the output should allow you to pass flavour from your wash to your spirit. It all depends on if it's possible to remove packing from your still and how much control you have over boiler heat and output rates.
There are some recipes for rum, bourbon, and even a weetbix wash in the recipe section.
Might want to wait till someone who is more experienced comes in to confirm this or not though.
