How much wash to put into a 50L boiler?

Just starting out and need some advise? then post it in here.

Small run inefficiencies aside, you want to be real careful pushing minimum limits, because you're talking about the amount to cover the element completely + the amount you collect + the amount of vapour in the entire column, condensers, and boiler head space...you have to account for all of that or you will have a big problem on your hands :whistle:

Thanks all
Ended up I ran 40 lt and then put 40lts back into the fermenter.
10lt slops
6lts molassis
6kg sugar
22lt water
Stripping the next gen now
And drinking the best aged MacRum while I whatch it
