Distilling Feints

Gents

Forgive me if this question has been covered, but I can't find any answers. After collecting enough heads and tails for a feints run, what ABV should I be watering it down to before distilling?

no more than 40% if you go under this % no matter, but if you go over it, you do so at your own peril...

Distilling Feints

+1 on Jay's comment. Also I'd turf any heads or tails from a feints run, it's not worth keeping feints from feints in my opinion.

What's the danger here exactly?

Hot flammable liquid and vapor in a large amount near a heat source. More than 40% and a spark or flame and whoosh!

it's generally excepted 40% is a safe as it can be % to distill at, heating alcohol up to boiling point is nearly as dangerous as boiling petrol. "so the danger" would be a much higher risk of explosion. Like playing russian roulette with your boiler.

Just a few small things like possible explosions, burning your house down.
