SS Ferrule to Copper pipe

Postby adam89 » Sun Jul 14, 2013 10:42 pm

I was hoping someone could help answer this. I've had a search around but cannot find a definitive answer.

Do SS Ferrules fit into copper pipe without the aid of expansion (Assuming standard copper pipe thickness, Type B?)? If not, what methods do people use to do this. I've noticed people using couplings and people who have it straight onto the copper pipe.

Thanks,
Adam.

Ferrules & copper pipe are pretty much the same diameter, so you're either going to need a joiner or expand the copper pipe :handgestures-thumbupleft:
