Just starting out and need some advise? then post it in here.

new pot still

just made my pot still with a thumper i think its running to fast its a small steam not drips any advice :think:

What diameter is it?

What heat you throwing at it?

What wash you running?

Doing a spirit or strip run?

How many Litres per Hour?

These things help ;-)

If your doing a spirit run a thin stream is ok, though it would be handy to be able to go slower while taking off the fores and heads.

sorry :angry-banghead: :oops: the specs are
2" going into 3/4" into thumper then 1/2" into the worm wich is 3m of pipe coild
1400w heating element in a 50l keg
did rum wash
and maybe 1l per hour
does that shed any light

That seems fine to me mate,
With running 1400w I dont think you will be able to go too fast :handgestures-thumbupleft:

i was thinking thumper may be to close its only short run to it
