stuck rum wash

hi just wanted help for stuck rum wash (Mc Stills) got to my 10 gen i left it in the fermenter for 2 weeks befor i got to still it i took my 10l (cool) and made up to 25l and that was it waited 3 days added 1/2 cup yeast and not a thing
so i made a new wash bang away it went 2nd then 3rd left for a week because its fucking cold hear and it got stuck 48hrs later not a thing 1/2 yeast got it going i think well for now HELP 8-} :laughing-rolling: :mrgreen: shits funny

its about 4.5 5 ph digi reader i think its bout right ive got a scale for it

Hey mate, I'm guessing it's the temperature, get yourself a heat belt (ESB or ebay), and you'll be fine.

For future reference the following can explain and fix a stuck ferment:
- Temperature too low (<20degC) or too high (>42degC), get a heat belt or similar
- pH wrong (should be between 3 and 4.5is), add citric acid if too high, soda ash if too low
- Not enough aeration (just dump in from one fermenter to another roughly)
- Lacking in nutrients, usually nitrogen, phosphorous or thiamine (add DAP, tomato paste and/or vitamin B tablet- crushed)
