Is there way to make this into a zip that is downloadable so people can have it on their desktop, Stiggy?

Pint did the dilution calcs for me years ago this way and i don't have to be connected to use em.

I must say, cos I forgot to before, this was supplied by our illustrious leader Mr McStill.
He asked me to make it happen, so I did.

Good stuff McStill and STIG. Thank you.

I hope its been peer reviewed and quality tested ;).
Hey McStill (EDIT: if we are allowed to know, of course) just what is it that STIG reckons you are 'renowned' for?

Last post failed....

Anyways, does any one here use an android powered phone?

In my spare time i enjoy programming small apps (also completing a B.Comp Science Games Programming).

Right now I am thinking of moving into android development and was wondering if I put these calulators into a nice GUI for your android phone would anyone except for me use it?

Im not asking for money, free for all members. Just I dont want to waste my time on something that already exists in a different context.

But if so i will be more than happy to start scratching away at it. I would prob also implement a still running section to graph temps vs abv (if parrot beaks on) vs time etc.

Ummm iPhone app will be available as soon as some one purchases me a macbook. One needs a mac to program for apple products. (having issues with virtual machines runnin osx).

So sorry iphone users.

Eclair (2.1) or Froyo(2.2) or maybe even a lower distro, ill see what functions ill be calling. Till then.

Stig im NSW central coast.

That could make some people very happy.

Almost finished pulling the equations and compiled. Just need to work on GUI and then getting it all optimised and running.

Once its in alpha ill test and post a beta for you guys to try. Tweak the GUI to everyones liking (well enough of you) then we port to iOS.

Hey guys progress report...
Decided to use froyo, android 2.2, for increased performance, over 2.1.

User interface completed, formatted with vertical buttons to keep it uncluttered.

Alcohol content of wash calculator is in and working sweetly, no bugs on HTC desire on 2.2

Once i get in maybe the temp converter i will post a link for you guys to DL and test, mainly for the GUI formatting, i have tried to keep it universal and should format itself based on the native screens on the installed device, but hey shit never goes to plan.

Time so far 2h20min. No shortcuts here, i want simplicity and performance (have been running twin threads of the same thing to load the phone up to make sure there are no hangs, so far so good, once it only has to complete the job once, should be smooth.)

Anyhow, off to get some of my absinthe made from a Turboed neutral with SS absinthe flavour. @ 56.5% mmmmm
