Ok todays run took in all the advice
45 litres tpw 5000 watt to bring it to temp turned one off refluxed for 15 min then set rc temp to 45 deg
150 mm to bbq lighter jar took off 6 litres in 2 hr at 94 % it then dropped to 90 % and stopped

Sounds like a better result, if iu slowed it down a touch more you would prob have got 95% but I reckon it will be better quality then before anyway. Have you done your cuts yet?

No not yet just finished and washed up with my new super washout ball connect this to the hot water tap poke it in the keg and swing it all about :)) [Sounds like the hokey pokey ]

reckon I would rerun all that stuff from the strip speed runs too Aussie , temper down to 40% and run it this low power. It will still piss like a donkey and come out sir-weet :handgestures-thumbupleft:

That sounds a lot better Aussie, and I bet you will notice the difference in what you have made.
Your still going a bit quick though I think, 6l in two hours = 3l an hour. 2 - 2 1/2 litres an hour might get you that last few percent.
I dont even worry about deflag temp, just use a timer and 400ml cut jars. 400ml every 12 mins is bang on 2l an hour. Just adjust deflag cooling to suit.

Things I have found first off without packed section with 2 elements column seemed to flood[site glasses were full ]
when I first packed the extension I just pushed the scrubbers in with the next that was when I got the fastest reading after that I tried tight packing the column then it went shitfaced parrot was reading all over from 92 down to 80
so then took all the ss scrubbers out and loose packed it again yesterdays run with 70 litres of turbo run
[ for a mate ]it gave 1+1/2 litres every 10 min that's 9 litres per hr
On many a day I start loading the boiler at 8=30 am and its all over and cleaned up by 11=30am
For the sceptics theres been 2 people seen this run so far
