Random flavored turbo washes, can I re run?

Postby George.bryant.nz » Sun Mar 16, 2014 7:30 am

Heyguys,

Have about 7 one litre bottles of spirits that have been flavored with essence bottles ur we're not labelled, have been mixed up by someone and I don't know what is what. And this was back in the day when I did turbo washes, I could just drink them but I was wondering if I can redistill eve if they have flavour added?

Can I just chuck them all in the boiler and re distill?

Thanks

Hi GB, using your reflux still head. Fill boiler ensuring to dilute the spirits with plenty of water to help dilute any flavors from the essences.
Run still as normal with plenty of reflux. Do cuts as usual.
If resulting heart cut of spirit still has an undesirable taste or smell, dilute with water and rerun.
